Traditional Italian Over/Under Shotgun Design

The Franchi Instinct reflects the longstanding tradition of Italian sporting shotgun craftsmanship.

Its over/under configuration places two barrels vertically within a streamlined receiver, creating a balanced design popular among hunters and clay target enthusiasts.

The break-action operating system offers straightforward handling and allows the shooter to visually inspect both chambers when the action is open.

Franchi's Instinct series combines these traditional characteristics with contemporary manufacturing and practical sporting features.

Walnut Stock and Classic Sporting Finish

One of the standout features of this Franchi Instinct 12 Gauge is its traditional walnut furniture.

The stock and fore-end display attractive natural wood grain, complemented by carefully patterned checkering along the pistol grip and fore-end. These textured surfaces provide a secure gripping area while preserving the shotgun's classic appearance.

The silver-tone receiver contrasts with the blued steel barrels, while the gold-tone trigger adds a refined finishing touch.

A rubber recoil pad completes the stock, providing additional comfort during shooting.

Balanced Over/Under Performance

The Franchi Instinct's over/under configuration is designed for hunters and sporting shooters who prefer the handling characteristics of a traditional double-barrel shotgun.

The single-trigger design provides sequential firing of the two barrels, while the ventilated rib offers a familiar sighting plane for moving targets.

Its streamlined receiver and ergonomic stock design make the Instinct suitable for upland hunting, recreational clay shooting, and other sporting shotgun activities.

Franchi Instinct Reliability and Craftsmanship

Franchi has a longstanding history of manufacturing Italian sporting firearms, with a particular emphasis on hunting shotguns.

The Instinct series incorporates durable steel barrels, a robust break-action mechanism, and traditional wood furniture.

Its straightforward mechanical design and classic styling have helped establish the Instinct as a recognizable option within the modern over/under shotgun market.
